I took a trip to New York City yesterday to see the Fashioning Felt exhibit at the Cooper Hewitt.
We drove to New Jersey and took the train up from the Hamilton station to Penn Station. It was a little over an hour to get there. Hopped on a bus and went up town. The exhibit was awesome. It was great to see it in person. I was traveling with my daughter, her boyfriend and a friend of mine. I did get the book. The web site shows the photos but there is nothing like seeing it in person. I was glad to see they had videos running that showed the process. Also an area where you could touch. You could only take photos in the palace yurt and it was beautiful.
We had lunch then walked thru Central Park over to Strawberry Fields and the "Imagine" mosiac in tribute to John Lennon. Then it started to rain. Headed back to Penn Station to catch the train home. Gre
